Advisors

What we do?

Advisors work collaboratively with schools, teachers, and educational communities to enhance inclusive education practices. Our role focuses on building school capacity to support students with special educational needs through tailored professional learning, in-school support, and the development of inclusive strategies and interventions. The NCSE have Advisors who specialise in different areas such as Behaviour and Wellbeing, Autism, Education and Curriculum.

How do I get support from an Advisor?

Schools Leaders can submit a request for School Support through our School portal. This will raise a ticket on our School Support portal. The ticket will be assigned to an Advisor with the expertise to deal with the request.

Submit your application for support

To submit an application,
– Login to the NCSE School Portal
– Create a New support ticket
– Select School Support from the Type menu.
– Complete the required fields
– Click Submit

You can also apply for Irish Sign Language Advisor Support or Special School Curriculum Support through the School Portal.

Once this request is received, NCSE will contact you, either through the portal or by phone, within ten school days.
