What is Parents Notify?

Parents Notify is an online form to notify the NCSE that you are seeking a place for your child in a special school or special class.  

After you send us the form, we will review your information. If the information and reports you provide meet the criteria, you will receive an eligibility letter.  

You will need this eligibility letter when applying for a special class or a special school.  

 Deadline: Please send us your form before 1 October 2025. 

If you already have an eligibility letter, please contact your local Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an updated eligibility letter. You do not need to complete the form again. 

If your child is not eligible, a SENO will contact you to discuss available options.  

If you are unsure if you need to complete the form, please contact your local SENO.
