Statement of Strategy 2023 – 2026
The NCSE’s latest Statement of Strategy 2023-2026 sets out the programme of work we are committed to undertake over the next three years, as part of our vision for a world class inclusive education system for Ireland.
The strategy is reflective of the significant expansion of the NCSE to meet the increased need in our education system, utilising the significant additional investment of almost €13m provided by the Government as part of Budget 2023.

Data Strategy 2025-2028
The National Council for Special Education (NCSE)’s Data Strategy 2025-2028 sets out how we will transform our data capabilities to better support children with special educational needs.
Building on extensive consultation and assessment, this strategy addresses current limitations while positioning the NCSE to meet growing service demands effectively.
