What is the SNA Redeployment Scheme?
The SNA Redeployment Scheme facilitates the movement of SNAs in posts which may no longer be required to be redeployed to a school which has a vacant post.
This ensures that experienced SNAs are retained in the workforce and that schools with higher care needs have the right level of support. The SNA Redeployment Scheme provides increased job security for SNAs. The scheme will start during the 2025/26 school year and will work alongside the current Supplementary Assignment Arrangement (Circular 0043/2025).
