Protected Disclosure (Amendment) Act 2022

With effect from 1 January 2023 the Protected Disclosure (Amendment) Act 2022 sets out the requirement for an expanded Protected Disclosures Report to be supplied to the Minister of Public Expenditure and Reform and also requires bodies to publish a Report on the respective aegis body websites. The published report relates to Protected Disclosures for the preceding year, (2025).

The National Council for Special Education have reported a NIL RETURN in respect of the number of Protective Disclosures during 2025.

There were no internal reports made under section 6 of the Act via internal reporting channels.
