Current Application Processes
D15 ACAT: Pilot programme for access to autism classes
If you are a parent or guardian seeking a place for your child in an autism class in Dublin 15, you can apply through D15 ACAT.
Through this central application process, you can send one application form directly to the NCSE rather than each school.
On the form, you can tell us which of the 18 participating schools you wish to apply to.
The deadline to apply for 2026-2027 was 31 October 2025.
Note: Taking part in this pilot project does not guarantee a school place for your child.

If you are a parent or guardian seeking a place for your child in a special school or special class, please use Parents Notify to notify the NCSE.
The deadline to apply for 2026-2027 was 01 October 2025.
