Eamon Clavin

Eamon Clavin is former Divisional Inspector in the Department of Education. Before retiring, he was attached to the Inspectorate’s Teacher Education and Inclusion Evaluation and Policy Support Unit and the Special Education Section of the Department of Education. 
  
He has previously served as a Department of Education nominee on the Council of NCSE and on the NCSE Consultative Forum. 
Before joining the Inspectorate, Eamon was a teaching principal in primary schools in Meath and Cavan. 

Eamon has a particular interest in special and inclusive education, and he holds a Postgraduate Qualification in Special Education from St Angela’s College, Sligo.
