Eamon Clavin

Eamon Clavin is former Divisional Inspector in the Department of Education. Prior to his retirement, he was attached to the Inspectorate’s Teacher Education and Inclusion Evaluation and Policy Support Unit and also the Special Education Section of the Department of Education.

Eamon has a particular interest in Special and Inclusive Education and he holds a postgraduate qualification in Special Education from St Angela’s College, Sligo. He has previously served as a Department of Education nominee on the Council of NCSE and on the NCSE Consultative Forum. Prior to his appointment to the Inspectorate, Eamon was a teaching Principal in primary schools in Meath and Cavan.
