NCSE Corporate Governance Guide
The NCSE Corporate Governance Guide provides a clear summary of the principal aspects of corporate governance within the organisation. Corporate governance means how the leadership makes sure we are following all the required standards in the organisation as a whole.
The Guide is a practical and effective resource for both the NCSE in general and for members of the Council in particular.
The Guide reflects the on-going provisions in the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies (August 2016) and revisions/updates to the Code or other new relevant legislation. It also includes revised procedures and policies the NCSE Council has approved to ensure compliance with the Code, since the previous version.
The Guide was last updated in March 2026.
The appendices to the Guide were last updated in August 2024.
