What is the SET Model – Primary?

The SET Model for Primary Schools is a system used to support children with special educational needs in mainstream classrooms. It helps schools plan and deliver extra teaching support based on each child’s individual needs. The model is built around inclusive education, where all children are supported to learn and participate fully in school life. It uses a step-by-step approach called the Continuum of Support, which ranges from general classroom help to more targeted and intensive teaching, depending on the level of need.
